This weekend we are excited to announce the visit of Jordan De Goey, Collingwood FC, to present player awards on Sunday 31 July.

As a junior player, Jordan played at the Ashy Redbacks and was later transferred to Oakleigh Chargers.  In 2014, he was selected by Collingwood FC as pick five in the national draft.  Jordan made his debut against Brisbane Lions in Round 1, 2015.  In Round 20 of 2015, Jordan was nominated as the AFL NAB Rising Star Award.  Now, that's one amazing ride since running around as a junior Redbacker :) 

Our evening will kick off from 5:30pm with Jordan arriving at around 6:15pm.  After we have a chat with Jordan, our Player Awards will get underway at approximately 6:30pm/6:45pm.  All nominees for Player of the Month and all eligible recipients for Milestone Games will be asked to come along.

All the normal fun of Ash's Wheel, an Ashburton Meats Meat Tray Raffle will be on the schedule as well as plenty of time to catch up with old and new friends.

Hamburgers, hot chips and a sausage sizzle will be cooking away for all to enjoy.
